Chris Shevlin
Chris Shevlin is Taylor-made's creative director. He is an experienced writer, editor and trainer whose latest book, Writing for Business, was published by Penguin in 2005. Chris regularly writes for all of Taylor-made's biggest clients, including SABMiller, HSBC and the UK Government.
As creative director, one of his roles is to set the structure, tone and editorial direction of documents so they achieve the organisations' aims. He carries this emphasis on the function of documents into his training work, helping people - especially from the corporate world - to write for results. Chris also coaches individuals, working sensitively to pinpoint problems that are holding their writing back. By identifying the patterns behind their mistakes, he is able to teach his clients techniques that rapidly improve their writing.
