Robert Taylor

Robert Taylor is Taylor-made's founder and managing director, and one of a select group of media trainers approved by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.

He has media-trained several hundred staff at the UK's Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and has also trained the entire executive management teams of the Olympic Delivery Authority for London 2012, British Waterways, British Airways World Cargo, SAP (UK) and Sita (the global aeronautical IT company). His other clients for media training include BT, Orange, Oracle, BEA, Starwood Hotels and EMC.

He started his career in 1990 in Sri Lanka, where he produced and presented English-language television programmes. He then went into the communications industry, and has since written many articles for national and international newspapers, and for trade and professional publications across a range of industries. Robert has written columns for The International Herald Tribune, Spectra Magazine and The Columnists, and is a former editor of the business publication Kent Network.
